KEMMERER – GRANGER JCT. (COUNTY LINE SECT.)

This Wyoming DOT project was awarded to Oftedal on October 23, 2008 for $10,636,265.00.  This project is approx. 6.5 miles in length between MP 87.23 and MP 93.85 on US 30 between Kemmerer, WY and Granger Jct.  Major items of work include grading, drainage, placing subbase, bituminous pavement surfacing and other misc. items.

MORAN JUNCTION - DUBOIS ROAD (FOUR MILE MEADOWS & TOGWOTEE PASS SECTIONS)

The largest highway contract in Wyoming history at $65,299,681 was awarded to Oftedal Construction on May 30, 2008. This project is a complete reconstruction of 16.3 miles of US Hwy 26 between Dubois, WY and Moran Junction which is 30 miles north of Jackson Hole. The project traverses the continental divide over scenic Togwotee pass (elev. 9658’). The schedule for the project indicates major items of work progressing over three seasons (2008, 2009 & 2010) with a chip seal applied in 2011.

RAWLINS SOUTH (SAGE CREEK ROAD)

TThis is a Wyoming DOT project awarded to Oftedal on Feb. 21, 2008 for $7,782,225. It consists of a complete reconstruction of 9.53 miles of WYO Hwy 71 just south of Rawlins. Major items of work on the project include grading, drainage, crushed aggregate base, plant mix surfacing and other misc. items of work. The completion date for the project is June 30, 2009.

NE ENTRANCE ROAD & BEARTHTOOTH HWY (COOKE CITY)

Administered by the Federal Highway Administration, this project is a complete reconstruction of 3.9 miles and an asphalt overlay of 0.4 miles of US Hwy 212 between Cooke City, MT and the NE entrance of Yellowstone Park. The project is located entirely within the state of Montana. Awarded to Oftedal Construction on July 16, 2007, the contract amount is $15,702,152. Major items of work on the project include grading, sub excavating and replacement, gravel and plant mix surfacing, and a water line feeding Cooke City.
